A stroll around the harbour and over the Bailey Bridge can always uncover some delights, no matter the time of year. A regular visitor is the the Grey Wagtail below - named after its grey back (although with all that yellow it's easy to want to call it a Yellow Wagtail!), the latter is in fact predominantly yellow, and would be a real rare spot if you happened to see one around Nairn.
And when the water is so clear, the reflections make for a good photo opportunity!
Finally - when the sun shines so low at this time of the year, it casts a good shadow too!
